Earn 3% Rewards for photo processing at Meijer

Meijer has announced new Photo Rewards. Now through December 31st you can earn 3% rewards on your photos that you submit for processing (either in-store or online) to the Meijer Photo Center using your Meijer 1 Card, cash, or your linked pin-based debit card.

It's perfect timing - with all the photos we'll be taking for the holidays, make sure you take them to Meijer for processing and earn our school the rewards!

Double Rewards in October!

We know it's a little early, but Meijer just informed us that they will be giving Double Rewards in the month of October! When you use your Meijer 1 keycard with cash or debit, you'll earn Dillon 1% on all eligible purchases (vs. the normal .5%). When you shop with your Meijer Credit Card that is linked to our school, you'll earn 2% on all eligible purchases (vs. the normal 1%). We'll remind you again in October, but the news is so good we had to share!

What We Just 'Bought' With Our Campbell's Points

We just placed an order through our Campbell's catalog and should be getting these nifty new things for our classrooms in the next couple of months (the average order, according to Campbell's, takes approximately 10 weeks):

2 Mega Novelty Packs

Thanks to your generosity, we have collected 18,182 points to date. The order above used 14,900 of those points, but we will be able to distribute at least 1 of each ball type to each classroom and still have a few left to give to P.E. The novelty pack will be used as incentives and awards throughout the school year. Don't forget to keep turning in those UPCs!

Scholastic's Search and Give Gives us $250!

Back in April, our school was selected from 408 other eligible "Three Star" schools across the country and was awarded $250 in Search and Give's April Superstars Sweepstakes. In addition to the $250 check that Search and Give sent, our ticket totals up to that point had earned Dillon another $174! What a way to start a new program!

*IMPORTANT INFO ABOUT CAMPBELL’S LABELS FOR EDUCATION*

IF YOU ARE STILL SUBMITTING LABEL FRONTS, PLEASE TAKE NOTE!

In June 2006, Campbell’s changed the way labels are submitted for their Campbell’s Labels for Education program. They are no longer accepting the label front for submission. Instead, you are asked to submit the UPC CODE and CAPS from participating products.

Campbell’s is allowing Dillon Elementary to make a ONE TIME submission of the label fronts collected this year until we can get everyone up to speed. After this one time submission, we will no longer be able to turn in any label fronts for credit in their program. Only UPC codes and caps will be counted.

For more information on what Campbell's needs to participate in their program, please see the “Eligible Products – Here’s What to Save” flyer available in the Dillon Elementary office or visit http://www.labelsforeducation.com/ for a complete list of products and eligibility requirements. You will also be informed of any changes through the Dillon Elementary newsletter.
